AKM Fabrications Limited is a leading manufacturer of Roof Safety Products, Rubbish Chutes and a vast range of bespoke metal fabrications.
First established in 1985, it is now a successful family business. The company was originally a sheet metal work and fabrication business, but over the last 12 years it has developed a niche in the “working at height” market, these are Evo Safety Solutions.
After years of research & development and experience in manufacturing, engineering and site installations, AKM have brought to market the - Evorail and Evowalk systems to provide turnkey solutions to all your Roof Maintenance and Access issues.
All of Evo Safety Solution's products are manufactured in-house and raw materials locally sourced. We work closely with our suppliers to generate excellent products made from the best materials available.

Evowalk Walkway Systems
Height safety has become an essential part in the ‘working at height’ industry, Evowalk provides the complete range of walkway systems for all roof applications. Evo Safety Solution's products offer a total solution for all access and maintenance requirements on many roof surfaces including:

Evowalk is manufactured from re-cycled PVCu and has a unique Anti –Slip surface which is applied during the extrusion process and is available to order in a choice of RAL colour no’s.Evowalk has been ultimately designed to protect the roof type from wear and tear from maintenance traffic and offers a demarcation route from any hazardous risk on the roof.
Standing Seam Roofs
Evowalk has been designed to be installed on all standing seam roof systems including;
- Kingspan
- Euroclad
- SpeedDeck
- Keybemo
- Kalzip
On installation, the combination of Evowalk and our EVS clamp offers 50% faster fitting on site, compared to our competitors. The EVS clamp is non penetrative to the roof, thus validating the roofing manufacturer’s warranty, Evowalk can be affixed across the seams (Shortways) and with the seams (Longways). Corners and T junctions look aesthetically pleasing with the spaces between the panels being equal on both sections, always allowing joints to have perfect alignment.
Composite and Built-Up Roofs
Again, our combination of Evowalk and the EVS Fixing bracket provides a 50% faster installation on site, compared to our competitors. The EV Fixing bracket is TEK screwed to the I beam and riveted to the roof sheet. The brackets are supplied with a bonded sealing strip on the underside.
Evowalk can be installed across the seams (Shortways) and with the seams (Longways), corners and T junctions look aesthetically pleasing with the spaces between the panels being equal on both sections, always allowing joints to have perfect alignment.
